New Academic Emergency Medicine site: AcademicEmergencyMedicine.netEmergency Ultrasound UK
Ever imagined a time when you as an Emergency Department Doctor can look for abdominal aortic aneurysms or a haemoperitoneum in trauma in your department? Just starting to use ultrasound to insert central venous lines?
Many UK Emergency Departments are recognising the benefits of focused ultrasound performed in the department by trained staff. Our College of Emergency Medicine approved courses are aimed at those wishing to start using ultrasound in their clinical practice, or to expand their skills. Courses are run by experienced Consultants in Emergency Medicine and Radiology through Addenbrookes Hospital (Cambridge) and Ipswich Hospital.
