EMERGENCY ULTRASOUND UK - Mozambique Course
November 2011

Thanks to the generous support of GE Ultrasound, a team including EmergencyUltrasoundUK faculty travelled to Beira, Mozambique and delivered an introductory course on focused emergency ultrasound. Diagnostic ultrasound is an extremely useful tool in Mozambique and may often be the only form of diagnostic imaging available.
All the equipment was supplied by GE Medical Systems Ltd
EmergencyUltrasoundUK would particularly like to Mr Lee Evans for VScan marketing manager EMEA.

In November 2010 a team from Ipswich including EmergencyUltrasoundUK faculty traveled to Beira (map) in Mozambique and delivered an introductory Focused Emergency Ultrasound course.
The course was attended by local doctors and final year medical students. We covered Level 1 Trauma, Echo and also introduced FASH (Focused Assessment with Sonography in HIV/TB).
